Red Cross Youth
About
The school Red Cross Youth CCA is one that integrates character-building, leadership, essential life-saving skills, blood-donation knowledge and local community service projects in its curriculum, with the Red Cross ethos and service to humanity as a core focus.
In addition, our curriculum brings out the best in our Links members and prepares them to lead themselves and others. This is in line with the Ministry of Education’s focus on Character and Citizenship Education and the development of 21st Century Competencies.
The Link Training Curriculum consists of Basic Principles of Red Cross, Red Cross Knowledge, Health Laws, Home Safety, Recreational Activities, Frist Aid, Foot Drill, International Friendship, Red Cross Service and Fund Raising.
Some key events that the Links participate in are the School–based Total Defence Day, National First Aid Competition, Linkamania Camp, World Red Cross Day cum Enrolment Ceremony and EUA Awards Presentation, Grateful Heart Day and School National Day March Past Parade.
